EXTRAORDINARY PARISH COUNCIL MEETING

TO BE HELD AT 7.30PM ON THURSDAY 29TH SEPTEMBER, 2011 AT THE MILTON ABBOT VILLAGE HALL

CHANGE OF AGENDA

At the Public Consultation held by the proposed wind turbine’s developers, Murex Energy, and their consultant, aardvark, last week it was clear to the Milton Abbot Grouped Parish Councillors in attendance that the majority of Milton Abbot parishioners are not in favour of the proposal to place a single wind turbine at Ramsdown, or indeed at Borough, Meadwell.  As such, it appears unnecessary to hold another public meeting solely to ascertain the community’s view again.

Given this, the Parish Council would now like to use the above meeting to listen to any additional concerns, to reflect on the 15th September meeting and to determine its view on the proposal, which it will then send to West Devon Borough Council for their consideration.  The developer will also receive a copy.

The revised agenda of the meeting is available here:
